The Poolseye Difference
We are a Florida state licensed swimming pool contractor (CPC1459394), enabling us to legally repair and install pool equipment. The state of Florida requires a license to build or repair pools; you can confirm licenses and read information on licensing at www.MyFloridaLicense.com.
Did you know that residential pool companies aren’t required to carry insurance unless they’re state‑licensed? As a state‑licensed contractor, we’re proud to be fully insured through the California Pool Association — an insurance provider that specializes in the swimming pool industry.
Why does this matter for you as a homeowner? A quick Google search for “popped pools” says it all. Most unlicensed or uninsured companies don’t carry the additional coverage required for a popped pool. And without that coverage, the homeowner is the one left paying for a brand‑new pool while the company walks away with zero responsibility.
Choosing an uninsured company is a gamble no homeowner should take. We maintain the proper licensing and insurance to protect everyone involved — including you, your home, and your investment.

Cole
Lead Maintenance Technician | POOLSEYE team member since September 2021
Cole brings an easygoing, outdoors‑loving energy to the POOLSEYE team. Before moving to Florida, he worked as a ski and snowboard instructor in Wisconsin, earning Rookie of the Year in 2016. He joined POOLSEYE in 2021 and quickly excelled through POOLSEYE’s training program, becoming a reliable, detail‑driven maintenance technician. Outside of work, Cole loves kayaking, exploring local beaches, and spending time with his fiancée, Kaylee, and their 70lb pit bull, Chunk. He also holds an Associate in Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
David
Repair Technician | POOLSEYE team member since January 2022
A native Floridian with more than seven years in the pool and spa industry, David is known for being an equipment guru and pool chemistry master — the go‑to expert when a system needs real troubleshooting. Dedicated and hardworking, he brings a sharp eye and steady skill to every repair. Off the clock, David trains in MMA, stays active at the gym, and hangs out with his dog, Luna.
Miguel
Pool Maintenance Technician | POOLSEYE team member since April 2022
Miguel is a native Floridian with a warm, steady presence and a genuine dedication to keeping pools looking their best. When he’s not out in the field, he’s usually enjoying family time with his wife and son, soaking up the sunshine and making memories together. Miguel is also a creative at heart — he produces and engineers music, and works as a freelance graphic designer specializing in concept art and music record labels.

Jake made the journey from Omaha to Florida in search of sunshine, salt air, and good vibes — and he found all three. When he’s not maintaining pools, he’s out fishing, enjoying beach days, or exploring new places with his girlfriend. A fan of staying active, Jake loves basketball and golf and brings that same positive, easygoing energy to the POOLSEYE team.
